Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Kampala, drive to Ziwa via Luweero, go rhino trekking & transfer to Murchison Falls
Your day will begin with a tasty breakfast and after, you will set off from the hotel in Kampala. Navigate via the Kampala-Gulu highway while viewing the countryside surrounding villages and at Luweero, make a brief stopover for you to purchase some of the freshly harvested fruits. From Luweero, continue to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola, meet the guide who will take you on rhino trekking experience.
After the interaction with rhinos, proceed to Masindi where you will have a lunch break at one of the classic hotels. Leave Masindi for Murchison Falls NP accessing it via Kichumbanyobo gate. Drive to the lodge at the speed stipulated by the park authorities and while also sighting some species as they freely roam including baboons.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon launch cruise on Victoria Nile
A delicious breakfast in the morning and after, meet the driver guide ready to navigate through Murchison Falls National Park. The key area of interest will be the Northern circuit, an area that will enrich you with great animal sightings. The common faunal species to come across along this area include the Rothschild giraffes, Uganda Kobs, warthogs, buffaloes, lions, elephants, Jackson’s hartebeest and bird species.
After the 2-3 hour game drive, have a leisurely lunch and relaxation at the lodge. In the afternoon, join others for another 2-3 excursion and this time round, enjoy the best of boat cruise on Victoria Nile till the base of the falls.
