Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Airport pick up

Once you have landed into Entebbe Airport, you will be picked up by our company driver guide. Enjoy a leisurely dinner and later, retire for the night at the pre-booked lodge or hotel in Entebbe city.

Day 2: Entebbe to Kibale National Park (through Fort portal tourism city)

Leave Entebbe city for Kibale National Park and getting to this park involves driving through Mubende –Fort Portal tourism city. En-route, enjoy the spectacular views of Matiri Forest and make a stopover at the tea farm before you reach Fort Portal city for lunch break. Starting your road trip from Entebbe to Kibale may take around 5-6 hours but comes with enriching experiences.

Day 3: Experience the best of Kibale chimp trekking & visit Queen Elizabeth Game Park

Following an early morning cup of tea/coffee, be ready for half-day primate expedition through the lush Kibale Forest NP. Trekking with Kibale chimpanzees begins from Kanyanchu Primate Walk, lasting for about 2-4 hours. This remarkable primate walk includes an hour of observing how the chimpanzees behave and taking photos.

In addition, do not miss to spot dozens of other primates and birds then get back to be served lunch. You will check out of the lodge and head off to Queen Elizabeth Park, navigating via Kasese.

Day 4: Game drive & boat cruise

After breakfast, embark on a sunrise game drive with accompany of an experienced park guide. Explore some of the big game species and other mammals including lions, African bush elephants, cape buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, bushbucks, and bird species.

From the game drive, get back to be offered lunch at the pre-booked accommodation facility. In the afternoon, expect to engage in Kazinga channel launch cruise and this lets you look out for the aquatic life including hippos, crocodiles and water birds.

Day 5: Head off to Ishasha Area for a game drive & transfer to Bwindi

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and after, you will set off in a 4×4 drive car up to Ishasha. This is the Southern end of Queen Elizabeth Game Park and you will have the best of game drive. On a game drive through Ishasha, you will look out for the tree climbing lions, buffaloes, elephants and antelopes. After, you will be heading to Bwindi National Park in Southwestern Uganda.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking experience through Bwindi Forest

Early morning, depart from the lodge for briefing at the park offices. The park guide will escort you on a search for a family of endangered mountain gorillas. Today’s trek takes you on a deep immersion into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and expect to spend 2-6 hours which includes observing how these apes behave and photography. After this, begin walking back to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 7: Departure

Your complete week expedition in Uganda ends today and it means you check out in the morning then drive back to Kampala or Entebbe. En-route, expect plenty of stopovers including lunch break at the Igongo and photography moment at the Equator crossing. Eventually, you will connect to Entebbe through Masaka city.
